The story begins with the founder, Kim Thaxton, who started Lazy Labs Bakery in 2018, as a retirement project, after retiring from teaching, to give her, and her husband, Mark, something they could do together during their retirement.  Lazy Labs Bakery grew beyond their capacity to run the business and sustain it by themselves.  Kim looked for new owners, and that's where the Mack family comes in.  We bought the business in the fall of 2022 and are excited about this new adventure for our family!  And yes, we have a Lab, Turbo, and are looking for another Lab to add to our family.  Our family includes, Katie and Brian, and our two daughters, Stephanie and Makayla, and of course, Turbo. The whole family is involved with all aspects of the business, including quality control department run by, Turbo.  Our founder, Kim and her husband, Mark are still very much involved in the business, but more in a supportive way, and with helping with events and markets.
